Report

The measurement protocol, report or documentation prepared and delivered to the Client as part of the Services.

We provide professional acoustic and noise measurement services, including building acoustic measurements, noise level measurements, noise source investigation using acoustic camera technology and noise modelling. The specific scope, deliverables and price of each project are agreed with the Client before work begins.

Scope of work

The scope of each project is defined and confirmed in writing before work commences. Any changes to the agreed scope may affect the price and timeline, and will be discussed and agreed with the Client before implementation.

On-site measurements

On-site measurement services are subject to site access, suitable conditions and scheduling availability. The Client is responsible for providing safe and appropriate access to the measurement site.

Reporting

We prepare and deliver Reports in accordance with the agreed scope and applicable technical standards. Reports are signed with a qualified electronic signature and delivered by email unless otherwise agreed.

Accreditation

Our relevant building acoustic, environmental noise and engineering-system noise measurements are included within our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope. Acoustic camera investigations and noise modelling are provided as separate specialist services and are not represented as accredited measurement activities.

Quotations and Pricing

Quotations provided through our website or in response to enquiries are estimates based on the information available at the time. The final scope and price are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Quotation validity

Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to revise a quotation if the project scope or requirements change significantly.

Pricing factors

Final pricing depends on project scope, location, number of measurement points or building elements, measurement duration and other project requirements. We confirm the exact scope and price before work begins.

Taxes

All prices are stated exclusive of applicable taxes, including VAT, unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes are added to the final invoice in accordance with relevant regulations.

Payment terms

Payment terms are agreed with the Client before work begins. Invoices are issued in accordance with the agreed terms and are payable within the stated period unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Client Responsibilities

To enable us to provide our Services effectively, the Client agrees to fulfil the following responsibilities:

Accurate information

To provide accurate, complete and timely information about the project, including site details, building plans, noise sources and the purpose of the measurements or assessment.

Site access

To provide safe and timely access to the measurement site, including any necessary permissions, access codes or coordination with site occupants and third parties.

Suitable conditions

To ensure that measurement conditions are suitable, including arranging for relevant equipment or systems to be operational during the measurement period where required.

Cooperation

To cooperate with our specialists throughout the project, respond to communications in a timely manner and provide any additional information or documentation requested.

Limitations and Disclaimers

While we strive to provide accurate and reliable Services, certain limitations apply:

Measurement conditions

Measurement results depend on the conditions present at the time of measurement. We are not responsible for variations in noise levels or acoustic performance that occur outside the measurement period or under different conditions.

Third-party information

Where our Services rely on information, plans or data provided by the Client or third parties, we do not accept responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of that information.

Recommendations

Any recommendations provided in our Reports are based on the measurement results and information available at the time. Implementation of recommendations is the responsibility of the Client, and we recommend consulting appropriate specialists for detailed design or construction work.

Information on our website is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice. Specific advice should be sought for individual projects and circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EnvLab (UAB Tyrimų Laboratorija) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or Services, including loss of profits, business interruption or loss of data.

Our total liability arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We treat project information, site details and supporting documentation provided by the Client as confidential and use it only for the purpose of delivering the agreed Services. We do not disclose confidential Client information to third parties except where required by law, accreditation requirements or as necessary to provide the Services. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the provision of Services or access to our website if the Client breaches these Terms, fails to provide required information or access, or if circumstances beyond our control prevent us from delivering the Services.

Upon termination, the Client remains responsible for payment for Services already performed up to the date of termination. Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including those relating to confidentiality, liability and intellectual property, shall remain in effect.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from or in connection with our website or Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
